Since 1977, the REAL® Seal has been used to differentiate REAL® dairy products made from U.S. cow's milk with imitations or substitutes. Over the years, the REAL® Seal has remained one of the most highly trusted symbols for high value dairy goods.

 

In a recent study among shoppers 22 years of age or older:

 

  • 92% see the REAL® Seal as extremely or very important;
  • The REAL® Seal significantly improves purchase intent;
  • Consumers are willing to pay slightly more for products that have the REAL® Seal – up to 5%; and
  • Products are more highly rated when carrying the REAL® Seal.
