Howard's Creek Authentic Beer Cheese, manufactured in Lexington, KY, has preserved the oldest “Snappy” beer cheese recipe in Kentucky, dating back to the 1930s from Boonesborough, KY. Our family inherited the recipe in 1979. By 2006, we were asked to put it on the market. In 2009, we became award-winning against 35 other beer cheese manufacturers and continue to be so today, which inspired us to make a Bold Flavor using sharper cheddar cheeses.
